Deletion of an equipment

Hi at all,

can it be possible for me to delete after creating an Equipment in PM module .If so can any one say me the procedure.

Hi Vishnu,

Yes ... you can delete an equipment after created by setting the deletion flag.

<b>Setting Deletion Flags</b>

- Call up the equipment in change mode.

- Choose Equipment -> Functions -> Deletion flag -> Set.

- The system sets the status Flagged for deletion for the master record.

- Save the master record.

<b>Resetting Deletion Flags</b>

- Call up the equipment in change mode.

- Choose FunctLocation -> Functions -> Deletion flag -> Reset.

- The system then removes the status Flagged for deletion for the master record.

- Save the master record.
