Hello,

I have been trying to install on my laptop SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version, but I keep on getting the following error:

I have checked and double-checked all the required settings: host name, \etc\host settings, \etc\services, loopback adapter, but everything seems correct.

My computer has XP SP3, disk is NTFS and I have the required RAM and disk space, video resolution is ok as well.

JVM and JDK version 1.4.2_09.

. I could not find any information about vserver used within an XP environment

JVM and JDK version 1.4.2_09

Not sure this JDK is compatible. Check at http://service.sap.com/pam for your netweaver release. Aslo try if possible with JDK version 1.4.2_16 and above.

Hi,

Some service is already running. Need to clean these services and registry using regedit.

If it not possible which similar service is running or software install then format your system

And do a fresh installation.
