Process controls and Risk management installed on the same server

Hi Forum gurus,

We are currently in the process of installing PC and RM on our discovery server for testing purposes. Does anybody know if RM and PC can be installed on the same server with GRC Access Controls?

I do recall reading a while back that PC and RM should be installed on a seperate server from Access Controls? Is there any truth to this statement? Has anybody installed both modules on the same server as AC, as has there been any issues?

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Rgds,

PREVO.

Hi Prevo

PC RM 3.0 is a single product and can be implemented in a single server as master data is shared between them for the Risk Based Internal Control scenario, which is basically PC RM integration.

You can also install AC 5.3 in the same server in Java stack but you have to size the server according to the sizing guides for PC,RM and AC published in the service marketplace.

Hello Prevo,

Yes, PC & RM should be installed on a separate server from where you have Access Control installed. Access Control applications can require a lot of resources and that can choke up the system and can give system instability issues.
