Undeploying an ear using command line of SDM

Hai all

This is very urgent to me

I got an error while undeploying using sdm

I given my command as follows

E:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program\sdm undeploy "compname=SampleEar.ear" "sdmhome=."

I got the following error

Starting SDM - Software Deployment Manager...

tc/SL/SDM/SDM/sap.com/SAP AG/6.4011.00.0000.20050207154237.0000

Initializing Network Manager (50017)

Checking if another SDM is running on port 50018

Syntax error. Return code: 12

please help me out in this regard

Hello Somaraju,

You need to specify both component and vendor name of the component that you want to undeploy. Compname is not the same as the name of the ear file. For more information refer to the documentation of the SDM, which you can find in E:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program\doc directory.
