Dear all,
I have issues about : I can not access to SAP Web Application with FQDN and port number 50000
Normally if we setup FQDN such as erpqas , I should access to SAP Web Application with FQDN and port number 50000.
For example if I access to http://erpqas.xxxxxxxx.com:50000, it should show SAP Web Application.
Pls tell me how to solve this issues.
Regards,
Pannee
Hi
Please check if you have defined FQDN in parameter icm/host_name_full in your instance profile, second check if you have defined FQDN in your system's host file.

Hi sachin,
If you have a Java stack installed in your SAP system , then only you will be able to access the URL http://FQDN:5<Inst Number>00 URL.
SO please check in ur SM51 if it is showing J2ee is well beside DIA BGD etc.
Thanks,
Jagadish.
Can you please clarify exact issue:
You are not able to access portal via http://<FQDN>:5<instance numner>00 or page getting re-directed to wrong URL?
Best Regards,
Whats the error?... calling the URL using the IP brings the logon screen?
Did you check parameter icm/host_name_full?

Juan

Dear Juan,
I can access another server with http://FQDN:50000, It will show the screen of SAP Web Application Portal.
After I check parameter icm/host_name_full , I did not maintain anything, it is working fine.
Why in ERP system, I did not maintain anything like that server, I have only maintain FQDN, It is not working and did not show anything. Pls suggest me how to solve it.

Hi,
If you try to access an ECC6 ABAP single stack system on a java port (50000) like for a SAP Portal, there is no chance that it will work...
You have to configure the abap stack ICM and to activate some web applications in SICF in order to get web access on an ECC6 system.

Olivier
PS : I hope to get soon really usable forums back...
