Hi, diffrent documents were created at different depatments like in purchasing dept, guide lines for creating pr are there, similary different sales documents were there in a company under qms. whether all those docs can be maped in dms? pls brief how it will be done in dms.

1. DMS is document management, here u could attach original file, like , "*doc', .pdf like standard formates defined in MIMIEs.

2. So for this we call it as DIR [Document Info Records],

3. DIR can be linked throught STD SAP businesObjects EX, MM, PR, PO, SD etc to line item or at heder level.

4. this is only deals with PLM orientedd activities.

Hi

This can be managed through Object link functionality available in DMS.

Goto DC10> select your Doc Type>Click on Define Object Link---> New Entries and select your sale document object

Then goto Cv01n and in object link tab and seect your object and save the doc.
