Hi,

I represent a steel manufacturing company, which has recently gone live on sap ecc 6.0. We have very complex manufacturing process. We have a number of operation before which the finished product is produced. Due to technical and feasibility issues it not possible to do weighment of product at the time of production. Production quantity is derived through volumetric/calculated weight. Now at the time of dispatch of same product, actual weighment is done at the weighbridge. In most of the cases it is found that calculated weight is less than the actual weight. In SAP, production is entered as per calculated weight and at the time of dispatch actual weight is done. So at the time of dispatch system will not allow to do PGI for quantity more than stock quantity which is derived through calculated weight. Please advise what should be done in such cases?

Hi,

After creating Delivery document, You can change the gross weight and net weight manually in the delivery document for any item (product).

Then You can post the goods issue.

Hi Parag,

Thanks for your reply. But that option wont work, because during PGI, RG1 also has to be updated and quantity has to be debited from the stock.
