NWDI => CE 7.1.1 Vs NW 7.01

u2022Using NW 7.0 NWDI - > This can be used to manage CE, we can reuse the existing NWDI server running on NW 7.0. Starting with NWDI 7.0 SP13, it is possible to create tracks for different NW versions 6.40, 7.0 and 7.1 in one NWDI instance.

u2022Using CE 7.1 NWDI - > However the reverse is not clear in SAP documentation i.e. CE 7.1 NWDI supporting NW 7.0 usage / whether if its stable enough / whether both 7.0 & 7.1 NWDI have same functionality but pointing to different Java instances?

TO SUMMARIZE:

1 - Have you used CE 7.1 NWDI to manage transports for both CE 7.1.1 and NW 7.01 transports?

2 - Assume that it should be possible to manage both the transports using single NWDI server. Which one is recommended?

This is what I found - Both NWDI would serve the purpose, well the decision lies with the customer which one to use.
