Adapter Inactive

Hello All,

I have installed all the adapters, but when i go to Adapter monitor, only BC,XI adapter have green light, rest all are inactive (no green,yellow or red). I checked under sap.com/xi/XI/System and all the adapter are there. Tried loading the Basis Content again, but it gives error and fails.

Any ideas..

Just configure one File Adapter and activate it. Then check for the same.

I am the basis guy and am new to XI, but as far as i can tell the xi guy in our project has created communication channels for file adapter (status active)..

thanks for you help, i'll ask him to recheck.

you will only get a green light for a specific adapter type if you have configured and activated at least one communication channel for that specific adapter type.

So the inactive sign in your case directly after the installation is ok.

Hi,

After importing BASIS component try to refresh the cache.

- Go to SXI_CACHE -> Adapter Engine ->Refresh the cache.
