Sales order release

Hi,

End users created some sales order now higher management wants to release that orders

Can anybody pls tell me how to release sales order?

what configuration requires?

Which kind of release Management wants to do?

Let me understand your scenario : Do you want to configure like, User will create Order and then It will go to Higher authority which will after approving release the sales order. If its your requirement, you can use Workflow Concept. Please search the forum and you can get step by step configuration of workflow.

Secondly if you want to release the order if it is blocked then there are various block:

Billing block, Delivery block etc.

Please let us know your requirement clearly.

What do you think if we also use Status Profile apart from what you have suggested.

Also, kindly explain what the Workflow Concept is ???

Yes, Even that can also link with Workflow, It will become easier and convenient too. Good idea.

Dear Akshay,

You can use V.25 to release. This you can use as Level 1 release. For this you have to write a routine in the pricing in which condition the sales order has to go into block. This block is can be used before credit check

If it is related with credit block then relase it thru t-codes

VKM1-blocked sales orders

VKM2-Releasd orders

VKM3-To release the blocked orders

and

VA14L- Sales doc blocke for deliv
