SOLMAN 7.0: SAPOSS and SAPNET_RFC give password invalid.

I'm on SolMan 7.0 with IDES 600 image install. The RFCs SAPOSS and SAPNET_RFC have been running just fine until today July 9,2009. I'm getting

Error Details Name or password is incorrect. Please re-enter

when preforming authorization test or connection test from SM59. Trace log shows:

• Trace file opened at 20090709 145247 EDT SAP-REL 700,0,159 RFC-VER U 3 981960

Per Security Guide SolMan 7.0 SP16, the passwd for OSS_RFC user is 'CPIC'. I updated the RFC's passwd and retried the test. Tests still fails with same error. THe RFCs do show user "OSS_RFC". Is there maybe a particular OSS server not in-sync with the others and I'm just hitting the failing OSS server occasionally?

Please help.

Hi,

Check your message server link. this should be contain your router address and SAP router address.

A sample link. But it will not work for you.

This morning, the SAPOSS and SAPNET_RFC connectinos are working again without any changes to my system. I suspect something was done on the SAP OSS servers side.
