Hello all,
Our customer has requested a change in AA masterdata in Time management tab field CAUFN - Internal order.
At the moment, the value of this field in all masterdata is defined in the standard interval 01.01.1900 to 31.12.9999.
What happends if I change this value via a LSMW update in all masterdata and overwrite this interval?
Is it neccessary in your oppinion to create a new time interval with a new internal order?
Which are the implications if a overwrite the existing interval with new internal order value?
Thanks for your help
Daniel Nicula

Not really necessary, but it is a good business practice to use new time interval option

If you overwrite the existing interval you loose the history of it, so it really depends on the business if they want to retain the history or dont care about it.
