SRM 7.0 vs Ariba

We currently utilize and older version of SAP EBP and Requisite Catalog. It is my understanding that our company might switch to Ariba vs. SRM. Obviously I prefer the latter .. SRM. Any thoughts on how I can sway management to continue to use SAP?
