Hello,

I need to send a file to external partner ( AS2 server).

I created 1 party and 2 business services within it : send and receive.

In the party I need to put a AS2ID. Which AS2id of external partner should i put : ExternapartnerSEND AS2ID / ExternalpartnerRECV AS2ID?

Thank You.

Any specific reason why you created only 1 party?

Usually when we do B2B scenarios,we create party for each business entity.

In you case first business entity is your company and second business entity is the external partner,so you should have 2 parties and within them a single business system each.

Thanks

ok got the point that 2 parties need to be created . One for send other for receive.

What about AS2sendid or AS2 receiver id ? what we need to put in each party?

1) Myparty : send party : AS2ID?

2) External party : receive party : AS2ID?

Scenario is to send file from myparty to external party.

They have given their Send and receive AS2ID?

We also have our send and recieve AS2ID?

Thank you

Secondly ,

1) Sender agreement needs to have virtual receiveri? WHY?

2) Recv determination needs to have virtual recv ? WHY?

Thank you

1) Myparty : send party : Your SEND AS2ID

2) External party : receive party : Their RECEIVE AS2ID

You can check the below links for virtual receiver

hmm ok.

read the docs. In my scenario sending a file to external partner : i dont think we really need virtual sender agreement /virtual recv determination?

is my understanding correct?

i created 2 parties :send party /recv party and have business service in both : first one for send ,second for recv,

Thank you

Hi,

Why do you want to have the sender and receiver in the same Party?

If the sender and receiver are in the same party, then your scenario is not exactly sending to an EXTERNAL Party.

Instead, you should create two parties with one Business system each (One for Sender and the other for receiver)

Each Party will have its own AS2ID now.
