How to convert query based reports into PLD's

Pls help me out with the step by step procedure to convert the result of a query based report into a PLD.

Hi Srini,

Steps to Develop a User Report in QPLD:-

If you save your Query in Query Manager. Next you can do this,

->> Choose the Query Manager on Top Menu.

->> Open the Qeury Manager Window.

->> Select the specific Query report. and

->> Click the Create Report button in Bottom on Qeury Manager Window.

->> then, Open the Create User Report Window and Select the User Report(System) in Base Template.

If you Change the QPLD name.

->> Click OK.

->> (or) If your Query Report have parameter. Click OK.

Now your Query report was Created QPLD.

Can you see your Query PLD? do this,

->> Choose the Tools on Top Menu.

->> Click the Queries. -> Query Print Layout...

->> Open the Query Print Layout Window.

->> Click Reports Tab and Double the Template(Requrie QPLD) on QPLD Window.

->> Customize and Save the QPLD.

Can you see your Query PLD Preveiw and Print? do this,

->> Choose the Tools on Top Menu.

->> Click the Queries. -> Query Print Layout...

->> Open the Query Print Layout Window.

->> Select Template in Report Tab on QPLD Window.

->> Click Print Preview on Top menu.

Hi Srinivasan,

1. Select the query report in query manager,Click create report.

2.Click Create Report

3.It opens the Create User Report window

4.In Name field automatically shown the query name

5.Choose User Report (System) in select Base Template

6.Click OK Button.

7.Tools->Queries->Queries Print Layout

8.It list the all report

9.Double click the report it open your report PLD

10.Make the alignment and save.

11. Go to Tools->Queries->Queries Print Layout and choose the template

12.Click Print Preview button it shown the output.

*Close the thread if issue solved.

1. Copy the query and paste it in query manager and execute and save with the report name

2enter ur query name and category and save

3.click on open button It opens the query manager window

select ur query name and category and click on Create

4.Choose User Report (System) in select Base Template

5.Click OK Button.

6.go to Tools->Queries->Queries Print Layout

7.It list the all report

8.Double click the report it open your report PLD

9.Make the alignment and save.

10. Go to Tools->Queries->Queries Print Layout and choose the template

11.Click Print Preview button it shown the output.
