Authorisation for import to QAS and PRD

Dear SolMan Gurus!

Is it possible to set authorisation for import to QAS and PRD. Customer wants developers to import changes to QAS and it operators (the workes from BASE department) to import changes to PRD. Does the system support it somehow?

Hi Petr

Yes there are standard roles delievered by SAP for ur req.which is in security guide

I am giving link here for solman SP 16 Security guide (it contains all the roles and relevant info)

Also if if standard is not helping u based upon the req u goto pfcg generate the zrole by copying and enhacing std

once you generated the roles..u can assign with SU01 transaction to all the users..

Note if you r at diff version search on SMP(service marketplace

So It seems, that there is no easy way how to do it. So we would have to generate a new z_role.

wel if you are using standard service desk or CHARMS etc than all standard roles will do the needful but in case

if you have some customization like enhance status profile etc for CHARMS than you need to enhance the role as per requirement
