Result recording characteristic detail screen and its fields

Hi guys,

May I know what are the meanings and purpose of the following field during result recording (i.e. QE51N) as the SAP portal help explanation is confusing since there is no example given?

For example, I have a sample size of 6, and this MIC is a summarized recording, and the actual inspected sample unit is 6. Out of this 50, The Upper Limit is 210 kg, Target value: 50 kg, and the Lower Limit is 5 kg.

My guys weighted the 6 sample size with the following result coming back.

My 1st question is.., based on the above tested result, does the QA inspector enter the following into the following field correct? If not, why?

a u2013 No. above ==> 1

b u2013 Maximum ==> 219

c u2013 Mean Value ==> 97.6667 <i.e. (455189..4)/6>

d u2013 StdDev. ==> I donu2019t know how to put this?

e u2013 Minimum ==> 4

f u2013 No. below ==> 1

g u2013 Frac. Above & Frac. Below ==> I know this field does not require entering as value is generated when hit the u201Ccalculate shareu201D button, but what is these two fields about?

Further, my 2nd question is does all the field columns above are compulsory to insert a value?

Hi Gajesh,

From my understanding, is tha I just has to key in the result field box, and the system will automatically compute the rest of the value for me.

I just need to check with you again on the following:

For example,

IF this is a single recording, click the line item of the MIC and click the binoculars to go the detail screen and key in line by line on the u201CMeasure Valueu201D field column. Correct?

IF this is summarized recording, likewise, go to the detail screen, and I have to key in the u201CInspectedu201D, u201CNo aboveu201D, u201CMean Valueu201D, and u201CNo Belowu201D field , BUT leave the u201CStdDevu201D blank for the system to compute. Correct?

Offcourse, since this is a summarized recording, I have to manually count the value so that I can insert the correct value on the u201CNo aboveu201D, u201CMean Valueu201D, and u201CNo Belowu201D field, Correct?

Create the MIC as Single recording and record all the results. System will automaticaly give you all the values like mean, deviation,
