MDSS ini file cannot see repository

Hi,

Dnt know why when we started MDSS server we cannot see any Repository on our MDM server..

What could be the issue ..What we have in mdss.ini file is as below...

[GLOBAL]

String Resource Dir=/opt/MDM/LangStrings/

Log Dir=./Logs/

Default Interface Language Code=eng

Default Interface Country Code=US

SLD Registration=True

Wily Instrumentation=True

Wily Instrumentation Level Threshold=0

Auto Syndication Task Enabled=True

MDM Server Name=erpdmu03z3

Auto Syndication Task Delay (seconds)=10

Please let me know if ai am missing something ..

Hi Vikrant

Sometimes when MDSS is restarted even MDS goes down and is restarted. We need to load the repositories after that.

Hi,

Try Replacing the MDS Server Name with its IP Address.

After this restart the MDSS.

Thansk for your replies..

Actually even i was surprised why mdss is not showing the repsoitories..

Issues found ..Basis Admin was looking at wrong place for mdss file ..found file in correct foder with all repositories..

Hi Vikrant,

Restart the Syndication server then checl the MDSS.ini file, you will find the entries for all mounted repositories on the specified MDM Server.
