I am facing problem with this "critical program error" , when ever i try to save the query or do any changes and sometimes while displaying the result also. whats the possible solution for this ? any idea ?
we had not encountered any error from a long time, but suddenly what happened ? we are on patch level 4, which one should be installed now to avoid this error ?
You are using BEX 3.5 analyzer or BI7 analyzer? Here you say patch 4 that is in fact for Bex 3.5. If so, I suggest install patch 5 or patch 6. Patch 7 is still in beta.
One known problem of patch 5 is it would affect BI statistics data. But patch 6 has some hierarchy and decimals display issues. You decide.
I tried reinstalling the same patch on my system, but the same error is occuring.can you please send any direct link to the latest patch which you specified ? i searched but couldnt find it. will it be enough if we apply the latest GUI patch or do we need to apply the BEx patch also ? where do we find the BEx patch ?
