How to import the transport contained file at operating system level

Dear Gurus,

I imported support package SAPKA70013, SAPKB70013 on SAP Solution Manager 4.0 Support Package Level 12.

Many error and shortdump occured, unable to use system anymore follow by note 822379,1023163,1112065.

Note 1112065 advise me to import the transport contained FIX.car file at operating system level and I already download.

Please andvise me step by step how to import the transport contained FIX.car at operating system level.

My system.

OS : MS Windows 2003 Server EN

DB : Oracle 10g

: SAP Solution manager 4.0 Support Package 12

HI

Check the logs in usr/sap/trans/log SLOG and ULOG is there any update in the file

and also check usr/sap/trans/tmp

I could suggest you to go with the Fix apply it and restart the SPAM update

I import support package again, now everthing fine.

so no chance of applying the note through Snote

once you have done with this step

SAPCAR -xvf fix.car

can you see any files with K9xxxx or R9xxxx if so then you need to paste those 2 files in respective cofile and datafiles

2 file name R068041.Y7A, K068041.Y7K and saw I folder /usr/sap/trans/cofiles and /usr/sap/trans/data

I has two queation.

1. which one I paste in cofiles and data?

2.and then?

Can you logon in SAP? Or is that impossible

K068041.Y7K Cofile

Then you need to add it to import queue of the respective system

STMS_IMPORT --> Extras --> Add --> Other request enter the TR, SID and Client

Hi, Everybody

I don't belive it.

Now, I can access all Transection Code and saw t-code SM37 ( I import transport package on background mode on 07.07.2009, 20.38.13PM +7GMT) task OCS_QUEUE_IMPORT is still running,

status is Active Duration(sec) is 159,410

shall I stop this job to retransport correct package or continue this job?

First copy the file to /usr/sap/trans

next open a prompt (run cmd)

go to /usr/sap/trans

SAPCAR -xvf fix.car

You'll see a transport created.

Go to STMS, import the transport.

Might be easier to try and import the note using tx SNOTE though.

I'd check if it is possible if I were you.
