GRC installation

Hi,

We need to install the complete set of GRC onto the netweaver stack.

Could you please guide us the media required for the same?

After the netweaver installation, will the GRC will be an addon ? Kindly guide us in this regard.

Hi Rama,

You just need to install the latest patch for GRC JAVA front-end and there is no need to install all the previous patches.

For ABAP, you need to install base package plus all the support packages also.

Hi Rama,

After installation of netweaver you need to apply GRC 0 level patches like you apply other java patches using JSPM.

You will get the GRC component from sap marketplace

--> http://service.sap.com/ --> Downloads --> Support Packages and Patches --> Entry by Application Group --> SAP Solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance --> SAP GRC Access Control --> SAP ACCESS CONTROL --> SAP GRC ACCESS CONTROL 5.3 --> Entry by Component --> JAVA-Components

Here you will get all the GRC component files from 0 level to highest level.

Additionaly you need to install RTA(real time agent) in your backend system.

Please read AC53_InstGuide.pdf, AC53_ConfigGuide.pdf,AC53_MasterGuide.pdf,AC53_SecurityGuide.pdf before start implementation of GRC.

When we go to the path:

Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group" SAP Solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance

in the service market place, only info page is displayed. There is nothing to go after that.

Please check and advise us on the path to download.

If you can not dispaly the installation media here then you probably don't have the required licenses for the product.

Unfortunately GRC products are not for free. You need to buy licenses in order to download the media.

Hi Rama,

If you do have the license of GRC applications and still not able to see them in SMP, then raise a message with SAP Support in component XX-SER-SWFL-ESD and give your S-User id with which you are trying to download the software. They would be able to check the auth. available to that S-user id on SMP and resolve the problem.

We have raised the message to SAP and they have enabled the required downloads.
