Live office affects excel execution

Hi all,

After intalled live office , I can't open excel from explorer directly.

FIle double click or selecting open in context menu don't work.

Excel is started, but no file is opened.

Please let me know the cause of this problem.

For now, I open specific file from excel menu.(FIle(F) -> Open(O))

It's a bother operation.

Do you have xcelsius installed on this system?

Turn off Live Office Compatibility in Xcelsius.

Open Xcelsius, click file, preferences, excel. Untick Live Office Compatibility

Hi

you can also start Excel, open any file using the File menu and navigate to Toos->Options->General. You should unselect the Ignore other applications there.

Hi all,

Besides the two solutions offered, pleasae note that this problem disappears once we installed Office 2007.

We also had the same problem and had already tried the other two solutions. Excel 2007 made the life easier for us and with Xcelsius.
