Dear Friends,
One of our Finance Payable team member has a network printer for normal printing, and a check printer which is locally connected to his desktop.
Network Printer --> Regular Printing purpose and it is set as Default Printer on the Windows Desktop
Check Printer --> is a 2nd printer (locally connected to desktop and not a network printer) Only can be seen from his desktop.
The issue is, how to print to this Check printer from SAP directly? Hwat Print method should I use?
Thank you,
Nikee
Hi Srini,
Yeah you can configure if not already configured a printer say LOCL with Host Spool Access Method : F and Device Type as SAPWIN.
This can be used by every one for their fronend printing.

Hi,
Use LOCL as the printer name when you try printing something from the SAP. This will send the prints to the printer that is connected to the user's desktop instead of the network printer.
Thanks,
Prashanth

Frontend printing is available to reduce the significant administration effort associated with this. This means that a user logged on to the SAP System through the SAP GUI can use the printers that are only set up at his or her frontend PC
