Error in "URL of PI index page"

Hi Experts,

We are having an error in accessing the URL PI index page.

The Error is: Service cannot be reached.

HTTP 404 - Not found

I have checked the authorizations evrything is fine.

there is a note in the page:

The termination occurred in system PID with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

Sunil,

Can you check whether the system is up and running? Are you able to login into ABAP stack.

Also try giving the fully qualified domain name in the url and try it out.

The server is UP and have give FQDN as well but no change.

Ther other thing when we check SLD_UC even there we have an error saying not registered.

Presently we are using PI7.1on win2003.

Please let me know if needed any more information.

Sunil,

Are you able to login into ABAP stack? If yes then check the transaction SLDCHECK for any errors. If you are able to login into ABAP and not to JAVA then there few blogs which you may check:

Also see whether the user is locked through which you are trying.

I am unable to open the blog.

In SLD check we have an error and unable to open the SLD (url Page).

I am able to open the blog. Probably some issues in opening from your client place or where ever you are.

Ok so you need to first fix the sldcheck error. Proabably that might be one reason why it is not working, because of some incomplete configuration. What is the error you are getting?

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work

=> Check SLD function and configurations

hi sunil,

for clearing the sld issue u need to create the RFC

Create RFC destination (TCP/IP) LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI for the SLD connection.

1.RFC Destination: LCRSAPRFC

2.Connection Type: T

3.Description: <your description>

4.Choose ENTER.

5.Choose the Technical settings tab page and do the following:

6.In the Program ID field under Registered Server Program, enter LCRSAPRFC

7.This program ID must correspond to a program ID specified in the RFC engine settings of the SAP J2EE Engine on the Integration Server host.

2. Maintaining the SAP J2EE Connection Parameters for LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI in SAP J2EE engine

1. Goto J2EE Engine

2. Choose Cluster --> Server --> Services. JCo RFC provider

3. Under RFC destination specify the following:

Program ID: LCRSAPRFC

Gateway Host: <Integration Server host>

Gateway Service: <Integration Server gateway service>

Number of process: 3

4. Under Repository specify the following:

Application Server: <Integration Server host>

5. Choose Set.

3. Maintain SLD access details in Transaction SLDAPICUST

and check this RFC are working fine r not... this are jco rfc..

this will create the connection for sld..

and after that maintian proper URL in sld...

ur problem will resilve... post if nay issue...

Both the RFC destination are there in the system and they are working.

This is message I get when I check SLD Test in SAPAPICUST

Testing HTTP connection to the SLD server...

An exception has occurred:

Exception in SLD client: AbapSLDRequestHandler.execGetClass(): CIM_ERR_FAILED: HTTP response code: 404 Not found

is this server is newly implemented.. or got an issue in between..

if it is new implementation then check the cache refresh and user credentails...post configuration steps one by one following guide...

check this blog once this will help you out to cettain extent.. and one more thing check the HTTP RFC and post me..

We got this error in between.We had a problem when we gave FQDN parameter in exchange profile.Since then we are having this issue.I try to check Http RFC,its not working .404 error.

Sunil,

The best thing would be ask your basis person to change the FQDN and then give a try. One thing you should keep in mind is either you change everything or change nothing. Please take a backup before doing anything. Now if you fix one then you may run into different issues also.

I think you guys are having the connection issues between SLD and XI. So please make sure the connections and make sure you sld is up and running.

The issue is resolved,there was problem with FQDN and they have removed that parameter but need to check the other pages,I am closing as we are able to get the page.
