Any one can please let me know how the configuration and testing will be done for MRP?

As always, a good starting point for configuration is SAP Best Practices. Check out the [MM Configuration guide|http://help.sap.com/bp_bl603/BBLibrary/Documentation/104_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_US.doc]. Config of Consumption based planning is covered in this document.

It is impossible for us to tell you what to test. It totally depends on your business requirements. From these requirements, you will determine how you want MRP to run (there are a nearly infinite number of ways to set up MRP). Once you have settled upon your particular solution, your test plan will derive from your requirements list and from your business blueprint.
