Hi,
we have the following scenario.
we are uploading the legal document in DMS. If some user download the same legal document on his desktop and tamper some of the data and send it to others. This is out of the SAP system.
Is it possible to restrict the tampering of document uploaded in DMS by any means?

I think u discuss same with SAP GRC. u will get more inforamtion.
In DMS we have one option Stamping, which is used to store document with authorized person wit h digital signature.
whil accessing or retrieve, the sytem prompts digital signature. so i mean only authrizedperson can display read, change.

If these documents are "secure" documents and are to be only accessed by a particualr groug of users, a simple solution would be to create a docuemnt type specific to these documents, then modify your your security role to limit access to this document type by the general user popualtion, create a new role which has security rights to the "new" document type and assign it to the "secure" user group.
