Dear all,
Our CRM environment sits on Unix/DB6. We have CI and app server on same host. There is no HA setup.
As the business requirement has changes now, we need to have this landscape HA.
We want to move to a HA setup with HADR.
Currently we are setup in one 390. We plan to spread app servers in two different 390s..want to have separate SCS instances, want to have HARR setup as well..
The question is - How do we go about that without inturrupting current production landscape ? Will se first need to setup required H/W, install SAP and migrate ?
Or, can we do this in existing setup ?
Any ideas?
LALIT
Dear Lalit,
I think you need an experienced consultant for that, who has done that before.
If you do migrate you probably do a couple of tests before that. For instance
you will make a system copy or you migrate the development system first.
One should make a detailed project plan. For the productive system you
will probably need a maintenance window.
Hope that helps.
Kr,
Andreas
