Hi,
is it possible to write own action scripts in the adobe designer. The scenario: If I press a special button, I wish that other form-elements become invisible.
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve,
as Raja stated, you can create your own scripting in Adobe LiveCycle Designer with JavaScript and FormCalc (an Adobe scripting language) on any of the form elements (fields, buttons etc.).
What you are looking for is basically covered with the dynamic PDF function, which allows for client-side dynamics. For more information, read the corresponding documentation in the Designeron the different form objects.
Kind regards,

Hi,
I am not clear of the requirement. Sorry.
BTW,Are you using ADOBE FORMS for Layouts? Or is it Interactive forms for Internal Service Requests/Personnel Change Requests?
Please let us know the requirement clearly.
If it's an ISR/PCR INTERACTIVE FORM Development, then you can create your own button and write your own action in FORMCALC / JAVA SCRIPT. You got to enable your script editor in PALETTES / ScriptEditor(in <b>SFP</b> Txn).
