Problem with sap-ext-sid and WDA in portal

Hello,

we implemented a Web Dynpro ABAP IView in Portal. The Portal URL ist called with two parameters, which are transferred to the IView and therefore available to the Web Dynpro Application.

But we encounter a problem. The URL is extended by Portal with ;sap-ext-sid and this leads to an endless loop.

Does anyone know about this?

The portal guy fixed it, but he did not tell me his solution

We have got the same problem. Please let us know if you have any progress.

We figured it out.

It must be a SAP bug because it attaches a "/" after the application name. That is wrong.

But we worked out a work-around. We define the appl name as appl\. The \ will nullify the / SAP appended by mistake.

It solved this problem.
