Hi all,
we are currently using 4.6c but when I go to se80 to the options to create BSP's is not there. I assume we need to install some component or another in order to get this to work.
Could you please tell me what needs to be implemented and how easy/difficult it is to do.
Thanks,
Paul
I assume we need to install some component or another
its not so. you have to upgrade to 4.7
starting 4.7 your ABAP system can also be enabled as a webserver and ABAP application server is called WebApplication Server starting 4.7 (web application server 6.10)

Hi,
You just need to upgrade your system to the version 4.7 or later versions.

BSP's are available only from the version 4.7.
You can go to SE80 and select BSP application and there you can start creating your own BSPs.
Here are some links for help on BSP.

Paul,
Upto 4.6C, we had two components to develop web applications the R/3 system plus ITS(internet transaction server).
With 4.7EE,web application builder is integrated into object navigator (SE80).
You can find further info. regarding web application builder in following link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/1f/30f839e7290433e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
The important point to note is that BSPs are tightly related to ICM(Internet communication mangaer),provided only with SAP WAS.

Bharat

Hi,
You should have at least an extra machine with Web AS/Netweaver on it or upgrade your 4.6c to at least 4.7(EE)
