How to apply and download software component PI_BASIS,2006_1_700

Hello to all,

i have to Installed software component PI_BASIS,2006_1_700.

can any one tell me the exact path to download it and how to apply it as i am using ecc 6.0 with win 2003 having Master no.

mySAP Business Suite 2005 SR1

Installation Master for:

SAP NetWeaver 2004s SR1

SAP ERP 2005 SR1

SAP SRM 5.0 SR1, SAP SCM 5.0 SR1

SAP CRM 5.0 SR1, SAP CRM 5.1

Number 51031797

please guide me

thanks actually i am confuse that which part i have to UNCAR in whole contents....

i think i have to go DELT_700

then DATA

and then KINBC9A.SAR

if it is ok then tell me and according to sap note 1007796 at page no 4 under d) it is asking to download req CD for 51032426

but as i know we have installation master different Number 51031797then what can i do ?

guide me rectify me if i am wrong

ok if i download then where i have to paste that req CD data.....

and another thing is ...

upto to know i know only that

sapcar -xvf <patchname (under usr\sap\trans dir)>

example

sapcar -xvf KH60009

while car file of KH60009 is sit under usr\sa\trans dir

then above command generate .att &.pat file under EPS/ in

after that through spam we download the queue and import it....

but in case of plug in i will call saint and will do the same...

problem is that what will be the command for uncar the file (KINBC9A.SAR)

because according to note 1007796 its different.

please guide

I have meet the same problem . I have installed the PI_BASIS by Tx saint using the content of folder DELT_700,then I have on idea how to use the folder UPGR_700?

Hi Anuj

I read the note there is no difference just follow the below steps

1:copy KINBC9A.SAR (for PI_BASIS 2006_1_700) to /usr/sap/trans

2:uncar it through sapcar -xvf KINBC9A.SAR

3:Now you can see files in EPS/in (Delta upgrade 2006_1_700: CSN0120061532_0025430.PAT)

Rest of the steps are menitoned in note 1007796 follow as it is
