Hello,
i have small problme,i am working on Inventory report where i have to display expiry material result based on periods.
for eg,if i run query today it should give resutl of last three month form todays date, and i also need to defined 4 period (from jan to Mar/Apr to Jun/Jul to Sep/Oct to Dec)
Please suggest me how to define these periods in Bex report.
Create a varible with Customer Exit path and based on Sy-DATUM write the logic in CMOD to calculate the result for last 3 months based on today's date .
For last 4 period , you can use offset functionality defined on a varible for Period.
Hope this helps

Hi Wajid -
1. for it should give resutl of last three month form todays date - I think you will have to write customer exit variable for this.I can mail you some stuff on it, share your mail id.
2. for normal quarters, I think you can manipate these by automatic conversion from calday to calquarter in update rules. I should also be possible in BEx though need to explore.
hope it helps
