ALM:email not coming in SBWP

Hi All,

I have just started using ALM.I configured Alert Category using transaction "ALRTCATDEF" and triggered alert using report "RSALERTTEST".On one server it is working and i am receiving alert on SBWP but on other server I am not getting any alerts.

Can anyone suggest what the problem could be?

thanks for your response.I checked both the systems and this note has not been implemented in both, but alert is appearing in one system and not on other.Anyways,I will get the correction imported and check again.If there is anything else,please let me know.

Hope email configuration is done for both the systems.

email configuration is complete in both systems.I can send emails normally from SBWP and receiving them also but i dont get alert mails i.e. when i execute report "RSALERTTEST' i dont get any alert in SBWP.

the problem is resolved by assigning communication type in user master.
