What is the definition and usage difference among Storage buckets profile, Planning buckets profile and Time buckets profile.
Scenario:
- Storage Bucket Profile in Planning area, PB_WEEKMONTH with settings ; week , month and posting period check boxes turned on.
- Time Bucket Profile in Planning book Z_FISCAL_YEAR_VARIANT
Number of periods - 30 , Basic periodicity - P, Fiscal year variant P2(15 day period per mth, 12 mths).
- Planning bucket profile -
> is it same as TB profile?
Problem : In planning book, the key figures values change automatically after forecast freezed for 3 months. Planners do not change them manually.
Is it possible that above mentioned profiles can paly any role in the calculation of 15 days times slot per month? I mean , is time and quantity calcualation per period is the reason of freezed forecast change?
Thanks

Hi Kumar,
Your 'Planning bucket profile' is the combination of your 'time bucket profl ID' (future and past). In your case when you dont have past time bucket profl, it is same.
Now when you using fiscal yr varient, and your period length is 15 days, then your bucket size is 15 days. You are showing the forecast quantity per bucket. What is the value maintained there in period factor field (product master/)? I hope it is '0.50' or nothing(blank). Please confirm.
Thanks,
Satyajit
