Hello,
If i have to pick a file from NFS and drop it using either FTPS/HTTPS. Which is the better/easier way to implement ? and where r chances of success sooner.?
Thank you

Depending upon the Target system

As Agasthuri right said,it totally depends upon the receiver system
If you need to do a synchronous scenario then you can't use FTPS.for async scenario, you can do either HTTPS or FTPS but depends upon in which format the receiver system expects data.

I guess both FTPS /HTTPS are just a protocol to drop file and receiver could expect either way.
Secondly, if we take https : where do we specify the HTTPS in recv channel? i do not see any option.
What config steps will be needed : to pick file from NFS and drop using HTTPS. No IR steps are needed as no mapping is there.
what certificates etc need to be installed and where?
Thank you.

Yeah they are protocols but that doesn't mean they can expect anything.how will you send messages via HTTPS if there is no application running on the server which will accept messages?

There is a guide on SDN titled "Message level security" did you search for it? It has step by step process for what you need
Thanks
