Multiple mail receivers?

Hello,

I need to send a file from the XI to numerous email receivers. I understand that I can put multiple email addresses separated by ";" into the "To:" field among the "Mail Attributes" of a Mail receiver adapter.

But the receivers should not see who else received the email with my file. But I can't define CC: or BCC: in the mail adapter.

In that case do I need to configure more than one Mail receiver adapter holding the different email addresses?

Thank you very much for your thoughts on this - I appreciate it!

Best regards,

Peter

Hello and thank you for your help!

I found out what the problem is: I am running XI 3.0 and the adapter type is "SAP BASIS 6.40".

On PI 7.1 with "SAP BASIS 7.10" the BCC: and CC: are visible.

So for anyone facing the same problem, that is the answer!

Best regards,

Peter

Hello,

Yes, I have the mail adapter as Receiver.

Hello Ravi: I cannot see CC: or BCC:

When I uncheck "USE MAIL PACKAGE" it shows FROM, TO, SUBJECT, CODING

When I check "USE MAIL PACKAGE" it only shows the CODING

Thanks again and best regards,

Peter

thank you very much for your quick answers!

Here under "Mail Attributes for Message Protocol XIPAYLOAD"

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/Helpdata/EN/6b/4493404f673028e10000000a1550b0/content.htm

it says "Under CC:...." and "Under BCC:...." define the other receiver email addresses.

But I don't have those fields among the "Mail-Attributes".

Can I make those appear somehow? I don't understand that.

Thank you again for your advise!

Best regards,

Peter

Can you make sure you are checking in receiver mail adapter and not the sender mail adapter?

Hi Peter,

Are you not able to see BCC and CC options even after you remove the Check against USE MAIL PACKAGE?

Hi Peter,

This option is very much available in the mail adapter.

Make sure the Message protocol is XIPAYLOAD

Check this link:

Make sure the Message protocol is XIPAYLOAD

In my receiver Mail channel for 7.1 I can see this option for both XIALL and XIPAYLOAD.....you just need to ensure that the Use Mail Package check-box is not checked

Abhishek.

Hi Abhishek,

Yes you are right.

You just need to uncheck the Mail Package.

Thanks for the correction.
