HI ALL!
I have a prduction process where unpainted board(Item A) has to be Painted.
I have deifned three items as :
1)Unpainted Board(Item A),
2)Painting(painting) -Item type->Labour and issue mehtod-backflush.
3)Painted Board(Item B).
I Have Defined BOM for Item B = Item A + Painting.
In BOM I have Defined 1 qty of Painting , i.e. 1 Hr. but actual time is 2 Hrs.
Now I want to edit ths time in BOM or Production But I cannot do as production Order is Released, if there are a few processes then we can issue the material(item A) later, however if there are 20-25 processes then what do I ???
Is there any other option to book labour time and cost???
Plz. treat this as urgent.
Regards,
Ashutosh
This is always a problem with back flush processes and labour items cn only be backflush.
What I have done for some who have variable labour components is to treat the labour as a stock item within an item group called labour.
At the start of a period I receive x amount of labour hours into stock roughly the equivalent of my total available employee resources for the period and adjust the labour out at the end of the period as we cannot double charge labour into the accounts. I also deliberatley remove the acoounts affected out of my financial statements?
Just an option???
