Hi

Can Insosource be fed by more than one source system?

One from R/3 and other from flat file?

Its urgent?

You can have multipple source systems to the same infosource and load them through separate infopackages.

Create a new infosource for flat file and assign it to the object ... ,

it is very similar to how you would do it for an R/3 source , but here there will be no datasource to choose froim since it will be a flat file.

Yes

You can assign your infosource to datasource of different source systems.

Hi Vasu,

You can assign one info source to data sources from multiple source systems like R/3 , flatfile. The transfer structure will be different for each source system but communication structure will remain the same for all source systems.

To add..

One infosource can be mapped to multiple datasources..

But..one datasource maps to only one infosource..

Yup ...

right click & keep assigning source systems ( these systems should be created first in Source system tab of Rsa1).

hi Vasu,

yes, can.

assign datasource, choose r/3.

assign again, choose flat file source system.
