Action box authorization

Hello all,

How do we add authorization for particular action box link. Means, some users should not be allowed to click on action box link. Or is it possible to hide the link for some users.

What does the business transaction field (while defining action box) below Function Module meant for. Is it for handling the authorisation?

Action box have reference to task codes (2 type). you can remove the authorisation for these task codes for the user

Hi,

Which authorisation object shall be used in that case.

I could find auth object 'Q_VORG_MEL'. But for codes the object is 'Q_GP_CODE'. Then which one to use.

Also what is the use of Business Transaction field in "Define action box" config?

Hi ,

Go through the following path for Action box config.

Maintenance and Service Notifications >>>Notification Processing>>>Additional Functions>>Define Action Box.

Hi ,

You may restrict with the authorization objects.

restrict the authorization object to user Id for Action box.
