offline approval not updating

Hi Srm gurus,

Please help! We have copied Prod to qas. We are currently testing email notification which includes approval via email.

Problem:

We have tried to approved via email, but the status is not updating. We have copied the whole Prod system to QAS. Please help us.

Hi,

Is it working in Prod? What is the program you are using for sending emails.Check the settings under txn-SO50. It should have the correct email address of the user which is receiving inbound mails. If you have just copied your prod to qa, then the email address might not be correctly maintained under so50.

Yes it is updating in Prod. We have entered the right email address, still it is not updating.

so50 screen:

(there are two rows)

1st row

communication type: internet mail

Recipient Address : *

Document Class: ICS

exit name: CL_APPOINTMENT_REPLY

call sequence: 1

2nd row

communication type: internet mail

Recipient Address : emailqa2.company.com (QAS email address)

Document Class: ICS

exit name: CL_BBP_SMTP_INBOUND_OFFAPP

call sequence: 2

is the mail go out of your SAp system to other mailserver .

SOST ? can you see your workitem?

I have checked the inbox through tcode: SBWP, I was able to view all emails.

Yes i have seen SOST i can see all outgoing emails.

Our problem is approval is not updating once we approved via email notification (offline approval).

I am able to receive mails the approval.

2 backgound is running every 30 mins:

a. RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP

b. RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL

I am also learning from you and forums. Generally you must receive a approved mail and this must be updated SC status too as per standard.

SAP Note 891451 - Processing of approval e-mails in

inbound processing

SAP Note 1243419 - Incoming e-mails not transferred to

application.

but you were telling that even you could receive the approved mail. so no communication between sap system and mail box servers. the problem need to identify why mail information status not updated in to SRM after approved from mail.

RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL- check any variants points to logical system in thae job

can you execute this report manually after you received a mail from mail box.

I run RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL manuaaly and checked the ch_** and it works. I also changed the ICS to *.
