NW 32bit CI+DB with NW 32bit App or NW 64bit App

Hi,

I have a server Window 2003 std edition (32bit), oracle database and NW70

I am not sure for the additional NW application server, would it be possible to install a 64bit NW application server?

(Please provide SAP note if possible)

The applications used is developed using webdynpro.

Please advise.

Thanks for the info. I am aware that 2 instances can be installed on a single host (on the same machine).

But I have a requirement to install additional application server on another machine, just not sure a 64bit NW can be supported in such environment.

Hi,

Means your CI will be on 32bit & DI will be in 64bit ....then it will not supported..

Hi,

It is possible to install the two SAP instances on one host. It is always recommened to install SAP systems on 64bit versions. See Installation Guide.
