Substitution/Validation for SD Documents

Dear SAP Gurus,

My client requirement is like this :

For SD Documents( No. range object : RV_BELEG) the number generated should be different for each Cost Centers/Profit Center

E.G.

Cost Center/Profit Center Document type No. ranges

1100 ZA 11005000 - 11005999

1200 ZB 12005000 - 12005999

1300 ZC 13005000 - 13005999

Kindly give a possible solution at the earliest convenience.

The report specified by you has the specifications of userexit_number_range. But it is not executable program.

Can you please elaborate the steps for the issue in question ?

Hi,

These userexits is the older userexits in SAP. You can write your own ABAP code, but you need open it with SCCR. Check the Note 170183 - What to consider when applying modifications.

For invoices you can check the Note 595327 - Determining a different number range interval.

If you are creating sales orders, set a break-point, and when you are creating the SO, check if values of VBAK-KOSTL, XVBAP-PRCTR, and so on are populated, then you can modify the field US_RANGE_INTERN.
