Dear Sap experts,
i want to ask something related R3tR, R3tr tabu.
i have developed a program which has TDMS projects and in the project serveral rules are merged , the program works like
dynamicaly the user selects the activated rules from the system and adds it into the project. now the seconed step is that i
want to transport this project id having assigned rules in it.
i am very new to abap since 4 months, so i am not aware how to work with customize partner transports.
i am confused that every time when a project is selected there should be a new transport for it to be created or there can be
one transport request for all cases ( projects ).
Thanks in advance if any body could help me in this regard,
Umer Malik

Usually, the reported error occurs when installing a new ST-SER, rather than when applying a support package.
Follow the instructions of SAP Note 727998. It's the standard answer and it's always recommended. It should solve the mentioned SYNTAX_ERROR.
With a currrent ST-PI, you can also perform the steps in your Solution Manager in transaction SDCCN very conveniently.
Run SDCCN, choose Utilities -> Maintain Service Definitions.
