I need a clarification on proform invocie as per business requirement . Can we use pro forma invoice for Free goods scenario or what would be the best approach.

Hi Babs,

Could you please let me know what you did to create the F8-Pro Forma for a zero value Free Goods delivery?

I could see the status in LIPS in always without "M" , so, no relevance for Billing, then system does not allow us to create F8.

Dear Babs,

You can create proforma invoice. But rather i will suggest go with normal invoice, If the value will be Zero system will prompt the message "No accouting documents required for this billing document". Again in some cases it may happen that you may require to post the saled deductions and discount in separate GLs
