Is a UDDI server the same as a registry/repository server?
UDDI is the underlying standard in a Services registry. To know more - google on UDDI 3.1
SAP Services registry and Repository are different.
SAP Services registry - UDDI registry
Enterprises Service Repository - Formerly INtegartion repository of PI. Now also availale with CE.
Hope this helps.
Thanks and Regards,

Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI)
UDDI is the Web services standard for publication and discovery of Web services and their providers. Services can be categorized by means of well-known taxonomies for various purposes, for example, the interfaces they implement, the access protocols and policies they require or the application components that offer them.
SAP NetWeaver in general as well as the Enterprise Services Registry in particular support UDDI 3.0 in order to provide standardized access to Enterprise Services Definitions and to enable an Enterprise Services Lifecycle Management.
for in depth knowledge you can refer this link.

Hi,
See this article for IBM SRR and SAP SR integration https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/0057a6a2-0e4d-2c10-92a2-f8654c5ea9a7 . Do same for your project.
All UDDI registry can talk to each other.

Gourav
