Error during system refresh on windows/Oracle

Hi,

I am trying to do a system refresh. I have the backup of the source system which is 118 GB of size. In my target system, all the datafiles are located in one drive and the total size of the drive is 136 GB and the free space is 1.5GB. When I tried to restore the database with the backup, it is throwing an error as follows:

-

BR0259I Program execution will be continued...

BR0360E Not enough disk space in G:\oracle\BAS\SAPDATA1 for restore, missing at

least 2430.807 MB

BR0406I End of file restore: reaypdes.rsb 2009-07-06 09.05.25

BR0280I BRRESTORE time stamp: 2009-07-06 09.05.25

BR0404I BRRESTORE terminated with errors

-

Now I moved some of the datafiles from this drive to some other drive and the free space available now is 11GB. Now I tried to restore the database from the backup but no success. It is throwing the same error.

But last time when I did the system refresh, I didn't get any issue.

Please suggest the solution ASAP.

Thanks & regards,

Make sure there is enough space in G:\ and correct permissions

G:\oracle\BAS\SAPDATA1

If your datafiles on above location are not getting overwriten make sure you remove them before resuming the restore.

Hi,

in your target system delete all datafiles and then again start restore.
