Refresh new BEx web content

Hi,

Does anyone know how to instantly refresh new/changed BEx Web content? (By refresh or reloading, I get partial update and usually take a day to see intended change show up on the Web)

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi Hsiao,

Are you talking about data changes, or chnages to formatting, like stylesheet changes? If stylesheet changes, then you need to refersh the global cache before you will be able to see the new formatting in the web report. By default the global cache is set to refresh once a day 24 hours)

I appreciate your prompt response. Yes, I'm talking about formatting change - stylesheets, images, etc. Can you tell me how to refresh the global cache or set it to refresh at a shorter interval time?

Hi,

You can do this in transaction SMICM > menu Goto > HTTP Server Cache > Invalidate > Global in System.

It is controlled by parameter: icm/HTTP/server_cache_0/expiration which has a deafult value of 86400 (seconds). See:
