Plant in Header data of sales order disappearing on saving order

Dear All,

We are giving the plant manually at header level in sales order.

When We enter the items in the sales order, the plant gets copied at item level in each item.

But when we save the order and then open the order in change/display mode, it does not show the plant at header level .

What should we do to ensure that the plant entered manually in order header level stays there?

Might be it is due to Screen Variant.kindly check in VA03 the transaction Variant.

Remove all plant from customer master material master and customer material info record and when u process sales order put plant manually

Hi,

If my understanding is correct,you are entering the delivering plant field in the overview screen which is a structure and not a table.

For your information there is no werks(plant) field available in sales header-VBAK table.

Plant details will come in item level only-VBAP.
