MDM 7.1 : Missing root element in XSD schema

Hi ALL,

I have generated the XSD (MDM 7.1 ) through XML SPY ,but uable to find root element inside the xsd.

While uploading the xsd in syndicator , root element path is disabled.

Can any one help how to rectify this problem.

Hi Brad,

this issue can have several root causes:

1. Your XSD contains a namespace definition which is currently not supported by Sydnicator

2. Your XSD does not contain an <xsd:element> definition at all.

Check your XSD regarding this issues.

Hi Lavanya,

Try to delete the "xmlns="urn:XXXXXXXXXXXXXX and targetNamespace="urn:XXXXXXXXXXXXXX" values and reload it in the syndicatior and check.
