Hi experts,
I have encounter a problem while uninstall the SAP ERP 6.0 by IDES Installation Master.
I get the error message at MaxDB > dataBase user password field:
Input Error.
"The dbmcli call for action DB_WARM failed. Solution: Check the logfile XCMDOUT.LOG."
I think might be something wrong with the password that has been created. So it is possible to recover the password? Or just bypass this key in of the password to uninstall the system?
Kind Regards,
George.

Dear Uday,
DbSl Trace: Connect to database failed, rc = -10709 (Connection failed (RTE:database not running))
(DB) ERROR: db_connect rc = 256
DbSl Trace: Connect to database failed, rc = -10709 (Connection failed (RTE:database not running))
(DB) ERROR: DbSlErrorMsg rc = 99
The installer cannot locate the file from other location.
Previously I tried to install the system into 'TEST 'server by using the installer file from other location/pc. Error occured.
Then, I copied the whole file into local drive to proceed the installation. Problem solved.
I think it is because of the hostfile - ipaddress and hostname.
ex. 10.x.x.x 'TEST'

George

Hi
You can find the log at Drive://programmefiles/sapinst_instdir folder
Were you able to uninstall MAXDB ignore the error and proceed with Deleting the Database manually, stop all the Database releated services before that.
